Arthur Anthony Mauser IV, age 44, of Copley, OH, passed away peacefully March 3, 2025, after bravely fighting a battle with brain cancer.
He was born February 22, 1981, in Solon, OH. Artie is a graduate of Aurora High School, John Carroll University, and the University of Melbourne where he earned a master’s in international business. In high school, he was a state finalist in wrestling and earned All American honors at John Carroll University.
Artie has resided in many places, including Ohio, Japan, Australia, India, Austin, TX, and New Jersey. He met Ashita Shah in Australia during graduate school, and they married in 2008. He had a beloved cat named Pawblo Picatso while he lived in Austin and New Jersey. Artie was a big sports fan, especially wrestling and football. He enjoyed traveling and thrived in the outdoors, enjoying camping, rafting, and amusement parks.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ashita Shah-Mauser on November 3, 2022, of breast cancer; his mother, Janet; and his father and stepmother, Arthur and Judy.
Artie is survived by his beloved daughter, Amyra Kay Mauser; and friends and caregivers, Kristen Kolar, Atul Shah and Ashil Shah, Ryan and Cheryl Ficco, Brian Stucky, Scott Miller, Dave Lance, and Josh Stucky.
Memorial service will take place SUNDAY, March 9, 2025, at 3:30 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
