Arthur Wayne Petrone

Arthur Wayne Petrone passed away on August 26th, 2025, in Tualatin, Oregon. He was 84. Wayne was a proud lifelong Oregonian, born on August 20th, 1941, in Portland to Arthur Petrone and Loretta Smith Petrone. Wayne grew up in South Portland, where he met his wife of 57 years, Dawn, who passed in 2018. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a jet engine mechanic. After leaving the Air Force, he worked for Safeway for over 30 years, retiring as a meat merchandiser. He loved camping, fishing, gardening, and traveling with Dawn across the US in their RV, to Maui, and to their second home in Seaside on the Oregon Coast. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Kim Partidge and Lynn Roberts, their husbands, Paul Partridge and Dennis Roberts, his grandsons, Mick and Brayton Roberts, and his great-granddaughter, Kaia Roberts.
