Arthur Rapose Obituary
He was born on June 3, 1952 in Ashtabula, the son of Arthur Rapose and Margaret (Colucci) Rapose.
David graduated from Harbor High School in 1970. He served in the United States Coast Guard. On November 18th, 2000, he married the love of his life, Millie Rapose. Right after getting out of the Coast Guard, he went to work for the railroad for a number of years before working for First Energy as a IT Technician.
He loved to care for his home, and took pride in doing things like caring for his lawn, keeping the landscape perfect. He helped with and ran a few side businesses like selling his waterless car wash products. He also ran a pressure washing business and a fishing charter with his brothers.
David is survived by his wife, Millie Rapose; brother, Donald (Joell) Rapose; grandchildren, LeeAnn and Angela; great-grandchild, Giovanni; and nieces, Holli (Alex) Rapose-DelPriore, NoElle (Eric) Blood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur M. Rapose and Margaret (Colucci) Rapose; and his brothers, Drew and Dennis Rapose.
A funeral service will be held at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 4pm, with Certifed Celebrant, Kathleen Shaffer, CFSP, officiating. A time of food and fellowship will follow services.
Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105

Dave was my work buddy for many, many years at the Perry Plant. He always made me smile, laugh, and was always there for me with any computer issues I had. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. We talked about tattoos once, and I told him I had two. But one was not where it could be seen. So for many years after that, he would ask, "Hey Mel, when you gonna show me that tattoo." I never did show him. I won´t be surprised when we are reunited in Heaven, to have him greet me and say "Ok Mel, NOW will you show me that tattoo." RIP sweet friend.
