Arthur William Sweeten

Arthur William Sweeten, age 62, of Fenton, Michigan, passed away on March 22, 2025. A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 3 PM to 7 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, located at 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Arthur was born on January 3, 1963, in Howell, Michigan, the son of Ernest and Diana (Christensen) Sweeten. He graduated from Hartland High School in 1981 and married the love of his life, Lisa A. Gren, on August 27, 1988. Professionally, Arthur was a lead installer at Rayhaven Group. In his personal life, he was known as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, corn hole and traveling especially to Aruba. He had a vibrant spirit and was often the life of the party, famously known for his phrase, "one for the road." Arthur is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa; his three children, Travis (Halee) Sweeten, Trevor Sweeten, and Victoria (Chris) Taden; and his parents, Ernest and Diana Sweeten. He also leaves behind his siblings, Anna (Matt) Devitt, Ernest (Kim) Sweeten, and Estelle (Tommy) Lashbrook, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
