Arturo Machin Flores

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Arturo Machin Flores, on September 6, 2025 at the age of 79
Born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, in the community of La Fermina, he carried his heritage proudly throughout his life. He was a strong, hardworking man with a beautiful heart, always ready to help others in need. A true firecracker - sometimes stubborn, but always full of love - he lived his life with passion and generosity. Some of his greatest joys were playing baseball, music, cheering on his beloved New York Mets, fishing, working in the fields, raising animals, cooking and tending to his garden where he grew fruits and vegetables with care. He also enjoyed playing domino's and, most of all, spending time with his family & friends.

He will be remembered not only for his strength and determination but also for his kindness, his helping hand, and the way he made people feel valued and loved. He is survived by his daughters, Celestine, Bernice his son Arthur and his cherished grandchildren: Cynthia, Angel, Aleena, Alana, Aleeah, Janira, Karla, Christal, Kevin, Hermione. He also leaves behind extended family and countless friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Though he is gone, his love, laughter, and lessons will remain with us always. May he rest in peace, watching over the family he cherished so dearly.
