Arue Medley Obituary

Arue worked in private security, he ran his own personal security which he called, Arue's Bodyguard Service.
Arue enjoyed cooking. He was a fan of wrestling, boxing, and football which he was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan. Mostly he loved the time spent with his family & his friends.
Along with his mother, the Rev/Dr. Ella L. Medley, Arue is survived by his brother Terrance L. Medley, and his two nieces Jána and Jada Medley; his maternal grandmother Hazel Rountree. He is also survived by five aunts and one uncle: Rose Simmons, Beverly Faison, Ballery (Leon) Simons, Renee Dolphin, Monica Sylvester, Glenwood Faison; and a host of cousins & friends.
Along with his father Warren M. Medley, Arue is also predeceased by his maternal grandfather Rev. Melvin Rountree and his paternal grandmother Mary Faison.
His Family will gather with Friends to remember and celebrate his Life on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to Arue's Family at this difficult time.
Arue was always one of those guys who was Truly Real as a Friend and a Colleague and even through his Tough Guy exterior, on the Inside his Heartwas Genuine and he knew the meaning of what it was to be a TRUE FRIEND!
To know we had planned to get together when you were supposed to be in Miami last weekend and when all messages went unanswered, I clicked on Social Media to find out you had passed away. I am heartbroken and I just know that Heaven just recieved one heck of a person. Always Remembered.
