Arvie Leavon Purcell, age 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 1, 2025, after a life well lived. Mr. Purcell was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 13,1946. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.
Family and friends will honor Mr. Purcell's life with a homegoing celebration on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the chapel of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The wake will begin at 10:00 am and service to follow at 11:00 am.
The burial will follow the services in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, Maryland 21117.
