Asadi Shamsid-Deen, born on November 29, 1943, in Hawkins, Texas, was summoned to the Halls of Heaven on April 18, 2025, in Richardson, Texas.
He was a scholar, businessman, and activist whose legacy will be remembered and discussed by family, friends, and foes for generations to come.
He is best known as a pioneer of possibilities who guided his family into a new understanding of knowledge. His love for family directed him to mentor many men and women on countless occasions. He will be remembered as on who persevered and one who loved and was loved by so many.
The Shamsid-Deen Family is respectfully requesting your respects during the wake on May 2, 2025, from 6pm to 7pm at Golden Gate Funeral Home.
