Ms. Ashley Brooke Hawkins, age 31, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at a Birmingham, Alabama hospital from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
Ashley was born in Rome, Georgia on December 26, 1993, daughter of Pam Renae Haggard Hinkley and Alan Clinton Hawkins, Sr. She was a 2012 graduate of Model High School and worked as a Shift Leader for Buffalo's in Rome. Ashley was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grover & Shirley Haggard, Paul Hawkins, and Peggy Pastore (Gabriel). Ashley was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was very outgoing and in her younger years she enjoyed roller skating and going to water parks. She loved her customers at Buffalo's and was loved by them. Her greatest joy was time spent doing activities with her children and family. Ashley stated, "My BIGGEST FLEX is my KIDS, because God sure blessed me!"
Survivors include three children, Marley Smith, Milo Ragland, and Maliyah Ragland; her parents, Pam Hinkley and Alan & Gay Hawkins; a brother, A.J. Hawkins; a stepbrother, Brandon Wigley; a stepsister, Bethany Wigley; a niece, Madison Hawkins (Jason Battaglia); a great niece, Leilani Battaglia; step-grandmother, Nancy Boston; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 4pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with the Bro. Larry Peppers officiating. Interment will follow in Lindale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Saturday from 2pm until 3:45pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Saturday at 3:30pm and include Brandon Wigley, Bradley Gossett, Jason Battaglia, Bryant Boston, Tony Boston and J.P. Peppers.
