Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brater-Winter Funeral Home (Harrison) on Aug. 31, 2025.
It is with both heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Ashley Marie Keller, who left this world on August 30, 2025, at the young age of 40. Born on August 16, 1985, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ashley lived a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. Known for her vibrant spirit and warm heart, she made each day brighter for those around her.
Ashley's journey began in Cincinnati, where she was raised by her devoted mother, Kathleen Bergen. From a young age, she showed an unwavering passion for helping others, a trait that led her to become a dedicated Medical Assistant with the Cincinnati Health Department. Her infectious laughter and determined nature were qualities that sparked a beautiful romance with her husband, Jonathan Keller, whom she married on October 14, 2006.
As a mother, Ashley was a guiding light for her children, Chris, Chloe, Mackenzie, and Ally (lovingly nicknamed "Chucky.") She cherished every moment spent with her girls, whether it was sharing a cozy coffee date at Starbucks or whipping up delicious homemade pasta in the kitchen. And let's not forget her famous Goetta-making parties with her mom! Her love for camping, sunrises, and sunsets added to her vibrant personality, creating a tapestry of unforgettable family traditions. She wore many titles in life - wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend - and she filled each one with love, laughter, and fierce devotion. She was a fur momma to Stella and Willow.
Ashley also found joy in the excitement of Gravelrama, where she cheered on her son Chris as he raced to victory. She was a straight-shooter, always expressing her thoughts openly, earning her the respect and love of all who knew her.
Ashley leaves behind a beloved family that includes her husband Jonathan, her children Chris (Katie Harrelson), Chloe, Mackenzie, Ally "Chucky," her devoted mom Kathy (Greg) Hall, her siblings Jessica (Keith) Stanton and Matt (Bridget) Hall, and brother-in-law Keith Keller. She was welcomed into heaven by her loving in-laws Elmer "Rick" and Beverly Keller, and all her grandparents.
To honor and celebrate Ashley's remarkable life, we invite family and friends to gather for a visitation at Legacy Christian Church (207 North Vine St.
Harrison, Ohio) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM. We'll share stories, laugh, and reflect on the beautiful memories we've created with Ashley. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Brater Winter Funeral Home at 11 AM, with entombment to follow at Miamitown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
Let us come together to celebrate Ashley's life, reminding ourselves of her spirit, kindness, and the love she shared with everyone. She may be gone, but her legacy and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.
