Ashley Idell Yates

Ashley Idell Yates, 35, Louisville, died Friday, June 30, 2023. A native of Louisville, she was the daughter of Bill Yates and the late Jadon Harlow Reid. She was a graduate of Beth Haven Christian School in Louisville and attended Western Kentucky University. She was employed at 18|8 Hair Salon as a receptionist. In her leisure time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with children. She was a Christian by faith.
In addition to her mother, her paternal grandfather, Harold Thomas "Buddy" Husband and her paternal grandparents, Charles William Yates, Sr. and Sherry Yates preceded her in death.
Survivors include her father, Charles William "Bill" Yates, Jr. of Louisville; two brothers, Andrew Thompson (Alyssa) and Jesse Reid, both of Louisville; her paternal grandmother, Mary Husband of Shelbyville; her grandparents, Charmaine Woods and Vincent Woods, both of Louisville and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Cremation has been selected in accordance with her wishes. There will be a gathering of family and friends 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Webb Funeral Home. The cremated remains will be privately interred later.
