Ashlie Kay Baumgardner, age 33, of Dover, passed away early Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Born in the former Doctor’s Hospital at Massillon, Ohio on June 8, 1990, Ashlie is a daughter of Robert and Diane Slusser Baumgardner of Dover.
Ashlie was a graduate of Dover High School. She focused her life on her children and family. She was an empath who felt all the feels of everyone around her and would do her best to make you feel a little better during your bad times. She just had a way of making everyone laugh. She loved holidays and birthdays and had the ability to pick off the wall gifts that you didn’t even know you needed. She loved Halloween, classic horror movies and crime investigating shows. Her time of year was Fall, cold weather, boots and fluffy coats.
Ashlie loves all music, from Conway Twitty and Shania Twain to Cake and Young Gravy. GRAVY BABY! She loved the feel of the hot sun and swimming. Although she was quite content to sit in the smallest child’s wading pool with three inches of water and a refreshment.
In addition to her parents, Ashlie is survived by her children, Quincie (14), Elliott (9), Patrick (7), and Marshall (6); siblings, Phillip (Jamie Nelson) Hutton, III, Ryan (Megan)Hutton, Amanda (Matthew) Groen, and Harlie Baumgardner; her grandmothers, Donna Slusser and Cheryl Baumgardner, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She had an especially close relationship with both of her grandfathers, Clarence Slusser and Bill Baumgardner who preceded her in death.
The family will greet guests on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 2-5 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Cremation care will follow through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
