Asia was born on November 27th, 2002. She began her life in Carpentersville, IL, where she attended Perry Elementary school. In 2012, she moved to South Bend, IN., where she excelled at Navarre Elementary School academically and as a student athlete.
Asia received multiple awards in basketball, track, and field as well as being on the honor roll. Asia then went on to attend Washington High School, where she played basketball as well as volleyball. Asia graduated from Washington High School with a 3.2 GPA. She continued her education at Purdue Fort Wayne, IN. Asia recently was attending IUSB and in the process of getting her bachelor's degree in psychology, where she would then switch to prelaw. Asia's dream was to become a lawyer. Asia was such a beautiful intellectual loving woman. Asia also loved to dance. She was very family oriented she was the life of the party when we had family game nights.
Asia is survived by her mother Tanika Davis, her sister Alise Phillips, her brother Karon Shearer, her grandma Diana Davis and cousin Dewayne Cannon, her favorite cousins Tracy Young, Jalen and Ciara, her stepdad, Joshua Craigo and three stepbrothers and one stepsister. On her dad's side she is survived by her father Derrick Phillips and more siblings, her uncle Darrell Coleman, aunt Arla Phillips, grandfather Darrell Phillips, Grandmother Rosemary Phillips. Along with a hand full of cousins, aunts and uncles on both sides of the family. Asia Phillips will forever be loved and in our hearts.
