Attigen Wilson Huff entered this world on October 21, 2009, in South Lake Tahoe, instantly brightening the lives of his devoted parents, Dustin and Hillary Huff. From the very beginning, Attigen amazed everyone with his intelligence, passion, and humor. He had a remarkable gift for conversation, able to out-argue even the most knowledgeable adults with wit and confidence. Those lucky enough to share a discussion (or should we say debate) with Atty would often find themselves fact-checking his claims, only to find he was always correct. Attigen had a deep love for cooking. Even as a toddler, his adventurous palate set him apart, enjoying everything from ikura with raw quail eggs to spicy Indian dishes. As he grew, his passion for food blossomed into a talent for cooking, where he impressed his family and friends with homemade pasta and perfectly cooked steaks. The outdoors and traveling, held an even greater piece of his heart. From backcountry skiing to wilderness backpacking, Atty thrived in nature. He began backpacking with his parents at 7 months old, followed by an annual trip to see the Perseid Meteor Shower, which sparked a lifetime of adventure. From hiking the John Muir Trail with his dad, to exploring the basin's wilderness with his closest friends, these journeys grew into cherished memories. For someone so young, Attigen had the chance to see and do so much. He traveled to Nicaragua, Greece, and often to his family home in Mexico. He visited his grandfather's former aircraft carrier, the USS Intrepid in NYC and explored his family heritage in Virginia. With his parents and his sister, Anaya, he enjoyed camping trips through the desert, hiking Half Dome, visiting hot springs, and exploring Alaska. These trips were full of family time, new experiences, and memories that will always be treasured. Attigen's memory will forever be cherished by his parents, Dustin and Hillary; his beloved sister, Anaya; his grandfathers, Curt Huff (with Ann Perry) and John Wilson; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many more family members and friends who loved him deeply. He is preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Sue Huff, who is now holding him close. A service to celebrate Attigen's life will be held on September 27th at the Taylor Creek Amphitheater (Visitor Center Road, CA-89, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150). From 6:00 pm to 7:30pm. Followed by a candlelight vigil at Kiva beach. The celebration will take place rain or shine. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Tahoe Rim and make donations in memory of Attigen Huff; all donations will go to adopting a vista on the Tahoe Rim Trail in Attigen's memory. https://tahoerimtrail.org/tribute-donation/
