Susan Turner Obituary
Susan was born in New York City on October 28th, 1947. She graduated from Immaculate Preparatory School in Washington D.C. and in 1968, received a nursing degree from the Washington Hospital Center School of Nursing.
She married Bruce Turner after graduation in Washington D.C. and they had their first child while living in Beverly N.J. In 1975. They moved to Truckee in 1977 where they built their home. She happily lived in it for the rest of her life.
Susan worked as a nurse in Washington D.C., Beverly N.J., and Truckee. She then became a stay-at-home mother when the second child was born. She was an avid skier and water skier. Even more, Susan was a devout Catholic and was very active in the Truckee parish.
Susan is survived by her husband, Bruce, their two daughtters (Alex and Meagan) and eight grandchildren.

We are so, so sorry to learn of Susan´s passing a few months ago. We have some lovely memories of her, as well as a couple of yummy recipes! She was a kind and caring friend.
