Aubrey Joseph Percle, 87, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Ochsner St. Mary.
Aubrey was born November 11, 1937, in Morgan City, the son of Rudolph Percle Sr. and Lorena Verret Percle.
Aubrey cherished time spent outdoors, whether it was crawfishing, fishing, or hunting, always seeking the thrill of nature. His greatest joy, however, came from his beloved grandchildren, who filled his heart with pride and endless laughter.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Anita Breaux Percle; Mark Percle and wife Debbie, Robbie Percle and wife Laurie; two grandchildren, Tyler Percle and wife Courtney, Logan Percle Breaux and husband Seth Breaux; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Percle; two brothers, Norman “Peck” Percle Sr; and Howard Percle Sr; numerous nieces and nephews.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Lorena Percle; daughter, baby Percle; three brothers, Bernie Percle and wife Edna, Earl Percle Sr, Rudolph “R.J” Percle; four sisters, Elma Brown and husband Andrew Sr., Virgie Breaux and husband Clifford, Dorothy Aucoin and husband Alfred “Marcelin”, Betty Speers and husband Johnny.
Keeping with Aubrey’s wishes, he will be cremated and placed in the Morgan City Mausoleum at a later date.
