Obituary of Audrey-Ellen Hohensheldt
Mrs. Audrey-Ellen Hohensheldt Paterno, of Division Street, Fort Plain, New York, died on Tuesday January 18th, 2023 following a brief illness.
Audrey was born in Dumont, NJ on August 23, 1950, the daughter of Joseph Paterno and AudreyVanOrden Paterno.
She was a graduate of Bergenfield Highschool, in Bergenfield, NJ, class of 1968.
Audrey was happily retired. She was previously employed by Citizens Communications, and at Concord Pools, Latham, as an office manager.
A long standing member of the Episcopal Church of the good Shepherd, Canajoharie, NY.
She was awarded an Art Award from her highschool graduating class, which she was proud of, further she had won 1st in show at the Bergenfield Art Show, in Bergenfield NJ. She had been a member of the Ayers Animal Shelter, as was known as an animal lover.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside burial service will take place at Jonesville Cemetery, Clifton Park, NY. With Arrangements entrusted to Gray-Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.

Sorry to hear of her passing, she was a friend of my husband they new each other since they were 10yrs. old. My husband passed 4yrs. ago on Jan. 16. They are back together again catching up on old times. I will miss her calls. Eileen Stapf
