Audrey Friedgen Obituary
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene M. Friedgen. She was also preceded in death by her sister Olive Mills, and her niece.
Survivors include three grandchildren Dr. Wesley Simons (Alicia Wilson) of Salisbury, NC, David (Sonia) Simons of Earlville, and Thomas (Rebecca) Hanson of Ottawa; seven great grandchildren Madilyn, Gwendolyn, Rhiannon, Morgan, Bryceton, Kadin, and Thomas; also one niece and one nephew.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora IL 60506. 630-631-5500. Inurnment of cremated remains will follow at Marywood Cemetery in Aurora.
Memorial donations may be made to Annunciation Church in Aurora.

You may have been 96 but if I called and said I am coming to town do you want to do lunch, you would be ready and waiting when I pulled into your drive. Never one to miss a trip somewhere or a chance to get out for a visit you had the energy of a 21-year-old. We will all miss you and your smile, your kind heart, and your generous nature. The year of being locked down for Covid was rough but we still enjoyed sitting in the yard, with the proper distancing of course, and chatting. Nothing was going to keep "this old girl from giddyup and going." My grandkids will sure miss seeing Miss Audrey at all the family functions. Say "hi" to Gene. He was a great guy and now you can be together again.
