Nancy Friedgen Obituary
She was born in Buffalo, NY and lived in Binghamton, NY for over 50 years where she raised a family with Robert Friedgen. She moved to Spring Hill, FL after retiring from AT&T in Syracuse, NY in 1993. She is predeceased by her parents Ernest and Althea Feuz, her spouse Robert Friedgen, sister Linda Drexel, and grandson Thomas Scannapieco.
Nancy was an enthusiastic player of bridge and golf. She loved to travel, create intricate needle work and pen rhymes for special occasions. She volunteered throughout her life and belonged to the Junior League of Binghamton and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her 3 children:
Lori Cook of FL (sp Ken, ch Erin), Lynn Kramer of NH (sp Perry, ch Nicole (sp Theodore), Ryan), Lisa Scannapieco of PA (ch Brendan (sp Kim, ch Mackenzie, Levi), Breanne, Lauren (sp Jon), Jamie (sp Ben, ch Olivia), Christine, and Michelle). She is also survived by a sister, Judy Burke of MD (sp Philip), and special friend Robert Hannon of FL.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4-5 p.m. with a 5 p.m. Celebration of Life at The Spring Hill Chapel of Brewer and Sons Funeral Home.
Friends and family are welcome after the memorial at the Friedgen residence in Timber Pines.
She will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery.
