Audrey Lee (Basten) Geyer passed away on August 27, 2025 at age 94. She was born July 5, 1931 to J. Harry and Leona (Wilson) Basten in Green Bay, WI. Audrey attended Whitney Grade School. Here she first met her future husband, Donald Geyer, when they were both placed in a split 4th/5th grade classroom. They reconnected 8 years later and eventually married in 1952. Audrey was a graduate of Green Bay East High School class of 1949.

After raising their five children, Audrey worked as a part-time secretary at Resurrection Catholic Church for 30 years before she and Don moved to Mooresville, NC in 2008.

Audrey is survived by her husband Donald, daughters Lynne (Frank) Kocevar, Beth (Todd) Klarner, Amy (Dave) Evans, and sons Steven and Mark (Cheryl) Geyer. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, as well as sister-in-law Bonnie Basten.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Basten, and grandson Brian Menor. A funeral will be held Wednesday, September 10 at 11 am at St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville NC.
