Audrey Hamilton

Audrey Lee Hamilton, 92, longtime Texhoma, Oklahoma resident, passed away Thursday morning, October 30, 2025 at the Coldwater Manor in Stratford, Texas.

The daughter of Herbert and Leona (Brunken) Lindorfer, she was born February 5, 1933 in Enid, Oklahoma. She attended school in Blackwell, Oklahoma, graduating with the Class of 1951.

She was married to Roy Thomas Hackler on January 16, 1954 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She was married to Harold Burton Hamilton on August 19, 1983 in Raton New Mexico. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2002.

Audrey was an active member of the Texhoma St. Paul Lutheran Church. She had worked at the Texhoma Times and the family business, Texhoma Oil & Gas for many years. She was also an Avon Representative for 32 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Leona Lindorfer, husband, Harold Hamilton, son, Michael Dean Hackler and step-father, Robert Schuelein.

Survivors include one son, Tommy Hackler and wife, Elizabeth of Texhoma, Texas, daughters, LaNetta Montgomery of Spearman, Texas and Robert Thorp of Texhoma, Oklahoma, and Barbara Mathews and husband, Terry of Stratford, Texas. Survivors also include two grandchildren, Amanda Dretske and husband, Ted of Stratford, Texas and Shelli Thomas and Michael Suhr of Ralls, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, November 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Texhoma with Pastor Thomas House officiating. Interment will follow in the Texhoma Cemetery.
