Audrey Anne Van Sciver Owens Roberts Huddleson, 95, passed away on September 27, 2024 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born on February 28, 1929, an only child, to LeRoy F. Van Sciver and Dorothy E. (Smith) Van Sciver in Rolla, Missouri.
Survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Owens of Jefferson City, MO, her friends, Earl Kliethermes and Mary Cunningham of Jefferson City MO and a half-sister Claire Van Sciver Hall of Georgetown, TX.
Preceded in death by her first husband Frank W. Owens, Highland Park, NJ and her daughter Sandra Lee Owens, Jefferson City, MO as well as her second husband, Ralph G. Roberts, Rolla, MO and a third husband Gerald P. Huddleson, also from Rolla. Also preceded in death by her half-brother L. David Van Sciver, of Los Altos, Ca.
Audrey has lived in Philadelphia, PA, East Alton, IL, Griffith, IN, Highland Park, NJ and Rolla, Missouri. She was a resident of Rolla, MO since 1975. She enjoyed traveling, bird-watching, swimming, playing the piano and volunteering at Phelps County Hospital. She was especially proud of her volunteer work of over 35 years. Audrey also sponsored the Frank Wood Owens Metallurgical Scholarship for a deserving student at the Missouri Institute of Science and Technology. While in Rolla she was an active member of the United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Rolla City Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
