Oakdale-Homegoing services honoring Audrey Ann Jones, 6, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Christ Church in Oakdale. Rev. Greg Willis will officiate. Audrey will be laid to rest at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakdale immediately following her services.
Audrey's family will receive friends and visitors at Christ Church in Oakdale on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 9 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Audrey's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.
From the moment Audrey arrived into this world, she has been a ray of sunshine to everyone around her. With her beautiful smile, bouncing curls, and a fabulous dress (with a bow and shoes to match), she danced and twirled her way through every day. She was fearless, tenacious, strong, independent, and full of joy. She has always been and forever will be - perfect, fearfully and wonderfully made. Not broken. Audrey will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Audrey's memory include her parents, Joshua and Julia Jones; one brother, John Caleb Jones; her paternal grandparents, Bruce "Cotton" Jones, and wife Sheila McDaniel Jones, her maternal grandparents, Rick Jones and Carla Garlaska; and one great grandmother, Patricia Jones.
Audrey is preceded in death by her great grandfather, John Everett McDaniel and great grandmother, Mildred McDaniel, and her great grandfather, Everett Holman Jones.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Kaylin, John Hayward, and Macie Eaves, Will and Charlie Murry, and Daniel Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be David Reed and Jason Pearce.
Condolences and words of comfort may be shared with Audrey's family at www.ardoinfuneralhome.com or on Facebook at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.
