Audrey Monica (Kvichak) Keller, 87, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the HOCC at New Britain. She was the beloved wife of the late John S. Keller for 67 years.

Audrey was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on June 29, 1938 to the late Stephen and Verna (Smilick) Kvichak. In high school, she was a Head Majorette for the school and the Duquesne Fire Department, where she met her future husband, John. Audrey graduated from the University of Hartford with an associate’s degree in legal secretary and worked for different local attorneys. She eventually took a position as an executive secretary at the Travelers Insurance Company, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

Audrey was a devoted member of St. Thomas Church and a supporter of the Archdiocese of Hartford. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and reading. She was also an excellent cook and will be remembered for her nut rolls, sugar cookies and traditional Polish baked goods that she made from scratch. Above all, Audrey valued her family, who affectionately called her “The General” and “Grammie Shoes” and gave her great joy.

Audrey is survived by two children, daughter, Kathleen Johnson and her husband Leland of Plantsville and son, Christopher Keller and his wife Carol of Norwich, two grandchildren, Mysti Keller and her husband Edward Nole and Dana Johnson and Karl Pulaski and one cherished great-grandson, John. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Donohue of PA, two brothers, Stephen Kvichak and his wife Mayda of CA and Thomas Kvichak of FL and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Kevin Donohue.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association (https://www.alz.org/).
