Evelyn L. Budrow

Evelyn “Evie” L. (Olsen) Budrow, 63, of Southington, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Jeffrey A. Budrow who predeceased her in 2010.

Evelyn was born on January 26, 1962 in Southington, CT to the late Norman and Barbara (Andrews) Olsen. She worked as a payroll specialist at Budwitz & Meyerjack, P.C for 28 years. Evie loved animals, playing games with her family and going fishing. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed crafting and crocheting.

Evelyn is survived by two children; son, Justin A. Budrow of Southington and daughter, Kaitlyn A. Budrow and her fiancé Andrew J. Merica of Quincy, MA, two sisters, Alicia Moore and Diane Emmons, both of Southington, one brother, Chris Olsen and his wife Judy of Maine, her mother-in-law, Shirley Ann Corliss of New Brunswick, Canada and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Jeff, she was predeceased by her nephew and godson, Jonathan Emmons.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 10 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
