Audrey’s life began on December 8, 1938, in rural Woodbine. She was the daughter of William L. and Almuth (Behrens) Kracke. Audrey was a 1956 graduate of Chapman High School. She was united in marriage to Jean Louis Lardenois on November 18, 1956, in Woodbine and he preceded her in death in 2013. Audrey was a homemaker who enjoyed casino trips and travelling with her husband, Frenchie.” She is survived by her children David (Judy) Lardenois of Abilene and Yvette (Larry) Ebright of Herington; grandchildren Ryan (Kristin) Lardenois, Matthew Ebright, and Lindsey Ebright; great grandchildren Rory, Dylan, Amya, Taryn, Larry, Otto, and Evelyn; and her sibling Arlene Ingrum of Abilene. Audrey passed away on Friday September 19, 2025, at the Village Manor in Abilene. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Renee Lardenois, and siblings Otto Kracke and Lenora Smith. Her family will gather for her Celebration of Life at a later date.
