1942 - 2025
Audrey F. Piech, beloved mother of Loreen Reed, Ronda Gentile (Darren), Audra Mudgett (Kevin), Richard Schirmer, and Kyle Schirmer (Melissa), passed away on May 15th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Audrey was a life-long resident of Danbury.
She is also survived by her brother, Alexander Piech (Maureen); sisters, Elsie Pettit, and Doreen Klein (Ted); eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and her longtime companion, Hicky J. Lubus.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, May 19th, between the hours of 4:00 – 6:00pm. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, at 11:00am in St. Peter Cemetery.
