Audrey Mae Rodrigue, born on July 19, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, in Pochatoula. Audrey's warmth and generosity of spirit touched the lives of many throughout her journey.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Morris J. Rodrigue, with whom she shared countless joyful moments, including their cherished dances together. Audrey was the loving mother of four children: Pamela Hogan, Sandra Rodrigue, William Rodrigue, and Donna Pendergrast. The legacy of her love continues through her 10 grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Felton Schwander and Audrey Schwander, as well as her grandson, Josh Rodrigue, who was loved and raised like a son and is now receiving Audrey with open arms in heaven.
Throughout her life, Audrey had a passion for cooking and took great pleasure in catering to the needs of others. Her nurturing nature extended to her enjoyment of entertaining friends and family, always bringing people together through her culinary talents. Additionally, she relished her time spent at the casino, often accompanied by loved ones, and cherished the moments shared with family and friends.
Audrey will be remembered not only for her love and dedication to her family but also for her vibrant spirit that danced through life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Care has been entrusted to Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington, LA.
