Augustine "Gus" Anthony Musisca, 92, of Canton, passed away on October 7, 2025 at home.
He was born on August 3, 1933 to the late Augustino and Josephina (Moaura) Musisca in Canton, OH.
A graduate of Timken High School, he was veteran of The United States Army. Gus started working at E.W. Bliss, Babcock & Wilcox, and then finally retiring from Ford. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Anthony. Gus was dedicated to his family, especially hosting doughnuts after mass on Sundays, and family fishing trips to Nags Head. He was an avid McKinley sports fan, and loved all televised sports.
Gus is survived by his loving son, Augustine "Gus" Musisca; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Pagan (Musisca) McQuaid; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Dasco) Musisca; sons, Michael V. Musisca, and Rodney Musisca; and siblings, Pat, Tony, Nancy, Dominick, John, and George.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 17, 2025, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18, 2025, 10:30 am at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Anthony. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery .
Memorials are suggested to the Akron Children's Hospital or St. Jude’s Research Hospital..
