Aurelio Obregon, 101, was gently called to eternal rest on December 19, 2025, in McAllen, Texas. He was born on October 12, 1924, in
Mission, Texas, to Bonifacio Obregon and Ines Garza Obregon. Aurelio's life was a beautiful testament to love, faith, service, and family.
Aurelio was the heart of his family-a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He shared a lifetime of love with his beloved wife, Timotea Obregon, with whom he built a strong and faithful family rooted in care, respect, and devotion. His presence brought comfort, wisdom, and strength to those around him, and his love will continue to guide his family for generations to come.
Aurelio was a gifted carpenter whose hands built more than wood-they built homes, memories, and a legacy of hard work and integrity. He took great pride in everything he did, always giving his best and teaching by example. In his quiet moments, he found joy in fishing, tending to his garden, and lovingly growing his own vegetables, finding peace in the simple blessings of life.
A proud World War II veteran, Aurelio honorably served his country in both the United States Army and the Air Force. His service was a source of deep pride, and he carried his patriotism with humility and gratitude throughout his life. His courage, resilience, and sense of duty will forever be remembered and honored.
