Aurelius George Lowe, Jr.

Aurelius George Lowe, Jr., born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a  resident of  Slidell, Louisiana and Covington, Louisiana, passed peacefully surrounded by his family in his home on May 19th, 2024.

Aurelius is preceded in death by his parents, Aurelius George Lowe, Sr & Thelma Mae Folger Lowe of New Orleans, Louisiana as well as his granddaughter, April Clasen.

Aurelius served our country with honors in the Army National Guard. 

Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Diane Ahten Lowe of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a devoted husband and father to his 4 children, Anthony Emile Lowe (Bobbi), Ryan Christopher Lowe (Ann Marie), Chad Michael Lowe (Erie) & Angelle Lowe Clasen (Kerry).
He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren that were the joy of his life, Brandon Lowe, Nicholas Lowe, Dakota Lowe, Gavan Clasen, Karley Clasen, Caden Lowe, Kaylin Clasen, Carter Lowe, Juliette Lowe, Joseph Aurelius Clasen as well as his great grandchildren; Emery Lowe, Kate Lowe & Carson Lowe.

Aurelius was employed by Nopsi, LP & L, and Entergy of New Orleans, LA from the early age of 17 to 67 years of age.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on June 22, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at The Antebellum House 430 South Street Slidell, Louisiana 70458. 

The family ask that this be a Personal Invite Only Celebration.
