Aurora M. Sanchez

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling, godmother aunt and friend, Aurora M. Sanchez went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2023 at the age of 86.
Aurora was born on May 27, 1937 in Cerrito Blanco, Matehuala S.L.P. to Tranquilino and Celedonia (Martinez) Mireles.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Hipolito R. Sanchez, her parents and her brother Ezequiel Mireles. She is survived by her children Alma Sanchez-Snyder(Stephen), Raquel Sanchez, Rodolfo Sanchez (Michelle) and Diana L. Lopez; grandchildren Eric K. Johnston Jr., Erica R. Johnson, Miguel Angel Lopez, Destiny R. Lopez, Sarah S. Sanchez; great-grandchildren Maliya Johnson, Maya Johnson, and Sebastian Johnson; siblings Evaristo Mireles, Jose Mireles, Manuel Mireles, Seferino Mireles, Estela Herrera, Socorro Vasquez, Fidela Espinoza, Reydesel Mireles and Maria Elvia Martinez, numerous godchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to express with deepest gratitude a special thanks to her Angels here on Earth: Mario A. Gloria, Eric K. Johnson Sr., Eusebia Castillo, Isabel Martinez, The Jaramillo Family, Gary Morin, Mr. and Mrs. Margarito Cuevas and Dr. Luis Torres and staff for their support and care during her life.
Aurora will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with a procession to depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
