Aurora G. Schultz “Mary” 99 years of age, of Rockport, Texas passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. Aurora….”Mary,” was born on June 12, 1926 in Dallas, Texas to Felix and Augustina Gonzales.
She was the baby of 8 children. She had four brothers and three sisters. Felix, Leroy, Solomon, Rodolfo, Jesusa, Otila, and Josephina
Aurora raised six children; Audelia (Nickname Lela Alvarado) Arismendez (Joe), George Alvarado (Mary), Celia (Nickname Sally Alvarado)Ramirez (Rudy), Auralia (Nickname Pompy Alvarado)Bolenbarker (Allen), Carol (Schultz) Adams (Larry) Robert Leon Schultz (Nickname Leo)
She is survived by her children George Alvarado of Woodville, Texas, Sally Ramirez of Pasedena, Texas, Pompy Bolenbarker of Aransas Pass, Texas, Carol Adams of Portland, Texas; many grandchildren; lots of great-grandchildren; many, many, great-great grandchildren; lots of nieces and nephews who often and fondly called her, Tia Mary or Tia Goya.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4-8pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. The Funeral Service will be Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10am, with the Graveside Service to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
