Austin Davis-Shaw Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 28, 2025.
Austin Davis-Shaw, age 28, passed away at MassGeneral Hospital in Boston on Saturday, March 22, 2025 following an unexpected accident.
Austin was born on a Blue Moon in San Francisco, California on June 30, 1996 to his loving mothers Gina Davis and Jacqueline Shaw.
He grew up in Palm Springs, California and moved to a Camphill Community in Pennsylvania, where he learned to farm, woodwork, garden and cook, just to name a few of his many skills. Austin later moved to another Camphill Community in Vermont for a short time.
His passion for music, dancing, and horses continued to flourish as he became a true Renaissance man.
Austin moved into the High Spirit community in Great Barrington, MA where grew and developed even deeper connections to the people who became his second family. He was loved by everyone he touched, as his kind, gentle nature was contagious.
He made friends wherever he went and is loved by too many to name. His moms and extended family are beyond grateful for the love and light he has brought to us these past 28 years. We are also deeply thankful for the amazing support, love, guidance and memories created for him by the network of housemates, (and their families, teachers, therapists, co-workers, and caregivers)
He is both profoundly loved and missed.to the moon, stars and beyond. Stand tall and fly free buddy boy.
