I still remember the days sitting in our church's junior high small group with Mike, our leader, and his sons David & Tim. I remember going on rides with David at a summer excursion to Six Flags, eating meals together at church, winter youth group retreats (especially playing on his dad's broomball team...), and sharing a room at the 2013 Life conference. I remember running into him occasionally during our years at Wheaton & chatting about life updates and about our musical endeavors. I wish I could've known him more before his passing, though am grateful for the time I got with him and send my greatest condolences to the Hudson family for their loss!

Mike and Wendy,
I am sad to have missed David/Ava´s memorial, but so glad to have connected a little with Mike. I did not really have much of a relationship with David when we were there. I think he must have been just younger than Jr. High maybe when I stopped doing that. I know he was your son, and I know what that means. I will be praying for you over the days, weeks, months ahead. Allow yourselves time to grieve. I know God grieves for David.

For the years I knew David at youth group and high school, he was a kind and considerate friend who I always looked forward to seeing. I will remember the impact he made on me and many others with his life. Prayers for the Hudson family in this sad time.

I remember when Ava and I worked the same CTA route. She would always say, "Oh, there you are. I was wondering if you were out here." It made me feel good I gave some level of comfort.
By the way, I called her Bee. I enjoyed our talks on New York...The Beyoncé tour during lunch breaks:))
A few days before Ava´s passing, I was looking for her. So, we could exchange digits, Social Media info. So, we could hang on days off. That´s how cool I thought she was. One of the nicest person I´ve ever met. It´s been a sad week for me.
My deepest sympathies to Ava´s Family and Friends.

Dear Mike, Wendy, Tim, Emily and Anna,
I am devastated to hear of your recent loss. David was a student in my first grade classroom. He was such a delightful child and a joy to teach. He was kind, caring, friendly, polite, quiet, respectful and bright. I am fortunate to have been a small part of his elementary school experience.
I wish Ava had more time to make a mark in her adult life. I believe she would have been an incredible individual.
God bless the Hudson family!

Wendy and Mike, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I will always remember that sweet, quiet, creative and very bright child in kindergarten. Ava brought so much joy to our classroom. I feel honored to have been a tiny part of her education, and I wish all of the Hudson´s my love and sincere condolences.
