Ava McCourt Obituary
Ava Rose McCourt, 9, of Tiffin, OH passed away on June 28, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin, OH. She was born on May 6, 2016 in Bellevue, OH the daughter of Jesse and Kinsey (Wright) McCourt. Ava was a student at Krout Elementary School in Tiffin, OH.
Ava loved life and enjoyed singing, dancing, laughing and giving hugs. She was a very kind girl and loved to spend time with her family and shopping.
Ava is survived by her parents, Jesse (Christina) McCourt, Tiffin and Kinsey McCourt, Port Clinton, OH; grandparents, Kim and Kris Spriggs, Clyde, Eileen Scherger, Green Springs, Bob and Tammy McCourt, Fairview, OH and Debbie Twardzik, Tiffin; great-grandparents, Therese Farster, Clyde, Karen and Frank Albright, Neapolis, OH, Suzanne Spriggs, Fremont and Myrtle Dougherty, Tiffin; siblings, AJ and Emma Hickman, River Wright, Josslynn Bryant and Sean Holland; loving aunt and uncles, Jaimee Sergent, Chett Dickey, Spencer Wright and Steve Twardzik, Jr. and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Tracy Wright and Steve Twardzik; great-grandparents, Thomas Farster, Phyliss and Howard Wright, David Dougherty, Jean Given and Denzil McCourt.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 211 N Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025; 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the family.
