JoAnne M. Norris

JoAnne Marie Norris, 88, of Dublin, OH passed away on September 24, 2025 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. She was born on August 8, 1937 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Kenneth G. and Kathryn M. (McIntire) Myers. JoAnne was a 1955 graduate of Green Springs High School.

JoAnne married William Norris on March 15, 1957 in Green Springs, OH and he survives. She worked to put Bill through college at Michigan State University while they started a family. They relocated to Ohio and raised two children, Ken and Connie. JoAnne was a devoted mother and homemaker, providing a safe and loving environment for her family. When her children were grown, she became an active volunteer in the flower shop at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH with over 20 years and 1000 hours of service. Through the years, she enjoyed baking, cooking, golfing, shopping and playing bridge. She always took joy in hearing about the activities and events taking place in the lives of her five grandchildren.

JoAnne is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Norris, Dublin; children, Kenneth (Nancy) Norris, Portage, MI and Constance (Mark) Bowers, Johns Creek, GA; grandchildren, Tanner Norris, Leah (Jay) Hwang, Brittany (Luke) Armistead, Jackson Bowers and Logan Bowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Earl Myers.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, OH. A celebration of life will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Green Springs Cemetery. Reception afterwards at the Green Springs American Legion, 211 Smith St, Green Springs, OH. A light lunch will be served. 

Memorials can be made in her honor to the donor’s choice.
