Avery Pool

Avery Pool, age 87, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 11, 2026, at Springcreek Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born April 16, 1938, in Deerfield, MI, the son of Charlie & Helen (Mumford) Pool. Avery was a proud U.S. Marine and Veteran. He was retired from the the Tecumseh Products Company after 18 years of service. Avery was hands on and was always working on several projects at one time. Avery was proud to be a Christian. He shared his love of Jesus with everyone who would listen. He had a strong relationship with The Lord, and a deep faith. Avery loved to socialize. He loved people and was always wanting to chat with, join with, laugh with and enjoy being with people he cared for. He loved babies and held them all. He had a heart full of love for his family. He was proud of all his children and was always willing to help when he could. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Helen Pool; his wife, Nora Pool; three sisters, Susie Thurston, Mary Harris and Charlene Boekeloo; son, Ronald Charles Pool; and step son, Donald Lewis. He is survived by his children, Bob Pool, Richard Pool, Kenneth Pool, Sharin (Scott) Hill, Sandra (Will) Risner and Debbra Noll; step-son, Kenneth (Lenora) Lewis; his grandchildren, Delphina, Danielle, Kenneth II, Katrina, Krissy, Krystal, Ashley, Mike, Zach, Tommy, Tony, Chris, Tim, Joey, Cory, Jacob, Melina and Raquel, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Highway, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Darren Lemmon officiating. Burial will follow in Deerfield Cemetery with Military Honors performed by the Tecumseh American Legion & VFW Honor Guard.
