Avyon “Avy” Orion Farrell passed away on August 25, 2025. Avy was born on October 21, 2005, making him forever 19 years old. A 2024 graduate of Rangeview High School, Avy was preparing to begin his sophomore year at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Avy worked in community pools lifeguarding and teaching younger kids to swim. He recently completed his national phlebotomy license, hoping to pursue a career in phlebotomy during college.
Avy’s heart was rooted in Colorado, though he shared his love and connections across Las Vegas and Washington.
Outside of work and school, Avy loved spending time with family and friends, going to movies or concerts, listening to music, getting lost in his sketchbook, and taking pictures. Avy’s karaoke song of choice was anything Hamilton, which he could sing by heart – who needs lyrics. Those who knew Avy never left the interaction without a camera roll full of .5 selfies.
Avy got to see some of his favorite artists on tour in the last year, including Meg Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, and Beyoncé. Even making an appearance on stage with Meg.
Avy was the best brother to his siblings, both older and younger.
Avy is survived by his parents Tiffeny Burke and Robin Farrell; his siblings: Alecia MacDonald, Andrew Farrell, Fagen Kimbro, Kingston Cowan, and Milani Cowan; his maternal grandmother, Angela Bates; Maternal uncles and aunts: Anthony Burke, Elijah Burke, Michael Burke Jr., Tatanka Bates, Amber Leverette, and Lorna Leverette; and his paternal uncles: William Farrell Jr. (Tracy) and Scott Farrell. Avy is also survived by numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him deeply.
Avy was welcomed into the afterlife with a warm hug from his paternal grandparents Jacqueline Farrell and William Farrell Sr.; and maternal grandfather: Michael Burke Sr.
