Christopher (Chris) Lee Samson, beloved son and father, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 21, 2025. Chris was born on February 24, 1974, in Aurora Colorado. He graduated from Rangeview High School in Aurora and attended classes at Red Rocks Community College. His passion for bicycles led him to working at and managing bicycle shops in both Aurora and Centennial. Like his dad, he loved the mountains and spent many weekends mountain biking, four-wheeling and camping.
Chris has two adorable daughters, Juniper and Holly, who were the loves of his life, whom he shares with former partner Stephanie Lochbihler, and he adored Stephanie’s son Mandon Lochbihler like a son.
Chris is also survived by his mother Diana Parkos, stepfather Richard Parkos, stepmother Gail Samson, his sister Samantha McNeill (Yale), uncles Ralph Johnston and Johnny Johnston (Chris), aunt Debbie Johnston, cousin Stacey Johnston, nieces Leila McNeill and Bryann McNeill, and nephew Chase McNeill.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Ronald Lee Samson, grandparents Ernest and Maria Johnston, and Elmer and Virginia Samson, and cousins Michael Johnston, Holly Spangler and Ben Johnston.
