It is with great sadness that the family of John Paul Timmerman announce his passing on 15 June 2025 in Aurora, CO. He was born at Shaw AFB in Sumter, South Carolina on 26 September 1984 to John and Nancy Timmerman. Raised in Aurora, Colorado, he graduated from Rangeview High School in 2003, and studied at Colorado State University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Boy Scout in Troop 839, and became a member of Tahosa Lodge No. 383 Order of the Arrow W.W.W., completing the rank of Brotherhood Member in 2000. He also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in December 2001. He attended the Boy Scout National Jamboree in Virginia in July 2001, and Trekked Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM. in 2002. He worked for Bass Pro Shop as the Hunting Lead for 10 years, then became the Production Engineer for Wear Parts and Equipment Co. Inc. in Aurora, Co. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and camp with a strong, quiet belief in God.
He is survived by his parents, John and Nancy, a sister and her husband, Annaleigh and Grant Pfiffner, his nephew and niece, Calvin and Evelyn, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Smoky Hill United Methodist Church, Centennial, Colorado, on 3 August at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or the Wildlife and Conservation division of Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
The family of John Paul Timmerman wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this profoundly difficult time.
They invite you to join in a celebration of a remarkable life, honoring John’s legacy and the impact he had on all who knew him. Details of the service will be shared as soon as they are finalized.
