Steven Griffin Obituary
Steve was born May 24, 1957, in Greeley, Colorado, the son of Ray Edward and Patricia Ann (Shedd) Griffin. He graduated from Rocky High School and went on to receive his master's degree from C.S.U.
In 1978 he was united in marriage to Mary Pertrowsky. Together they had two sons, Zachary and Skylar.
He was employed by the Department of Energy where he served as an Engineer. He was awarded several certificates during his career. He also served as an accountant for the Department of Defense and Department of Energy. Later he taught accounting for H.P.
He lived in various towns in Colorado and New Mexico.
Steve enjoyed driving cars, range shooting, history, and traveling. He would often be heard quoting movie lines. The time he cherished most was the time spent with his family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving family members include his sons Zachary Griffin and Skylar Griffin and one brother Wade Griffin. He is also survived by special friends Marcus Maroney and Jack Worthington and his loving pets Molly and Millie.
A favorite quote of Steven was "Only you can make inadequate a normal feeling in your life."
