Scott Alan Lee

April 24, 1954 - February 10, 2026

Scott was born to Robert Dean Lee, a hydrologist, and Betty Florine Lee (née Brungard), a travel agent, in Billings Montana.

His siblings were Craig (died in 2025), Matt and Clark. The family moved from Montana to Ensenada, California in 1957, then to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1962.

In the second semester of his senior year they moved to Golden, Colorado where Scott graduated from Golden High School in 1972.

He wanted to go to college and attended Colorado State University for 2 years, then Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs. He joined to army in 1976 and was trained as a radar technician.

The army sent him to Landstull and Wiesbaden, Germany where he took leadership training, microwave calibration and radar repair. After being honorably discharged in 1979, he started studying electrical engineering at Metro State College, now MSU in Denver. He graduated in 1984 receiving a Scholar Award. His electrical engineering career took him around the world: South Africa, South Korea, China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Finland.

Eventually he returned to the Denver area and was introduced to Donna Davis in 1987 by Pat Paone, a bowler and a colleague of Scott's. Their friendship developed over the years and they decided it was time to marry in 2012.Scott was a quiet soul who enjoyed the outdoors and photography.

His favorite vacation was to pack up the camping and camera gear and head to remote areas to get some great pictures.

He was known to take hours getting the right lighting and angles to "get that perfect shot". He was adept in the dark room to develop the film too. Donna was a great and patient companion during these photographic escapades many of which involved longer hikes than she'd prefer.

Their dog Quinn enjoyed the outings too.
