Allen was born September 8, 1949, in Richmond, Indiana, to Frank and Louise Harris Conrad. He was a self-taught photographer who had won several awards, including Best of Show at the Indiana State Fair. Allen was also an avid runner who loved nothing more than a quiet 10K run through the country.
Allen is survived by his wife of 47 years, and his son.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Judy.
A private family graveside service was held on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Arrangements were handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
