ABBEVILLE- A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville honoring the life of Bailey Jace Dubois, 24, who passed away on June 30, 2025, at Abbeville General Hospital. Brother J.Y. Smith will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chandler Lamkin, Ethan Desormeaux, Skylor Lacaze, Jaylen Dubois, and Korin Dubois. Honorary pallbearers will be Salem Lacaze, Raeell Lacaze, Xander Lacaze, Jean Paul, Ezra Dubois, and Sage Dubois.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Monday, July 7, 2025, from 8:00 AM until time of services.
Bailey J. Dubois was a kind and gentle soul, whose beautiful smile could light up a room from a thousand miles away. He carried a deep and unwavering love for those closest to him, always wearing his heart on his sleeve. His warmth, compassion, and joyful spirit touched everyone he met.
We will forever cherish the memories we shared with him—each one a precious reminder of his light and love. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in our hearts always.
He is survived by his fiancée, Kendra Briggs; mother, Ellen “Michele” Cooper and her husband, Jeremy; father, Greg Paul Dubois; five siblings, Amber Rogers, Skylor Lacaze, Jaylen Dubois, Korin Dubois, and Zaysea Dubois; maternal great-grandmother, Percy Mae Howard; and paternal grandparents, Harold Dubois and his wife, Carol, and Nell Hebert and her husband, Brad.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret Annette Christian, and David Clay Lamkin.
