"A wildflower in a world of chaos"
Funeral services officiated by Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, honoring the life of Kasie Luquette Richardson, 33, who passed away on March 15, 2026.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 8:00 AM until the time of services.
She is survived by her daughter, Ainsley Toups; son, Brantley Duhon; parents, Wayne and Beth Luquette, Sr., and Angela and Stanley Birdwell; siblings, Logan and Victoria Boudreaux, Brendan Birdwell, Hunter and Haley Lange, and Wayne Luquette, Jr.; grandmothers, Marybelle Luquette, and Rachael Russell; godchild, Lillian Boudreaux; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by Jasper and Brett Richardson; grandfathers, Lester Luquette, Sr., and James Russell; and grandmother, Ruby Underwood.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville (337) 893-4661.
