Baldemar Estrada, age 52, entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2025. He was born on February 17, 1973, in La Paz, Gran Morelos, Mexico to Jose Angel Estrada and the late Maria Guillermina Estrada.

Though most knew him as Baldemar, to his mom and cousins he was simply “Baly” a nickname that now brings comfort and sweet remembrance.

Baldemar had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing, and enjoyed fixing and working on boats. These were moments where he found peace and purpose. Always known for telling jokes, he brought laughter to those around him. He was always willing to help others; every time his dad needed something done around the house, he was there to do it. He especially loved eating his mom’s food, his favorite was her fried catfish.

He cherished his family and was the eldest of eight siblings. He loved sharing his passions with his son, Daniel by taking him fishing. He would often clean the fish himself so his mother could cook them for him, creating special memories they both treasured. He also enjoyed drawing and often shared his artwork with his granddaughters, sending them special pieces he had created for their birthdays.

Rooted in the Catholic faith, he carried with him a hope in God’s mercy and everlasting love.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Guillermina Estrada, and his sister, Velma Isabel Estrada.

He will be remembered by his children, Gabriella Sutton and husband Austin of Arkansas, and Daniel Estrada from Texas; his two granddaughters, Blakely and Penelope Sutton; his father, Jose Angel Estrada Sr.; and siblings, Jose Angel Estrada II and Laura A. Estrada; Mario Estrada; Banessa Estrada and husband Henry; Ximena Robledo and husband Alvaro; Gina Medina and husband Raul; Everardo Estrada; and Carolyn Carter.

He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews along with many great-nieces and nephews.

“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.”

El limpiaba y preparaba los pescados para que su madre los cocinara, creando recuerdos inolvidables. También disfrutaba dibujar dibujos para sus nietas en sus cumpleaños, llenas de cariño y detalle.
