Evangelina Estrada, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 53 on May 20th, in San Antonio, Texas.
Evangelina brought light and laughter everywhere she went. She devoted her life to raising her two daughters, along with three of her nieces and nephews - a testament to her boundless love and motherly heart. To her three grandchildren, she wasn't just grandma - she was mom. Evangelina was truly a mother to many.
She often said, "We're here for a good time, not a long time," and she lived those words with elegance, joy, and generosity. Always carrying herself with class and respect, she was also the life of the party - full of energy, laughter, and wisdom. People came to her for guidance, comfort, and sometimes just a good story or a laugh. Her door was always open, and her home was a refuge for anyone in need.
Evangelina had a deep love for nature and animals. Her backyard was a lively haven filled with chickens, dogs, and cats. She found peace in gardening and joy in sewing, always creating, always nurturing. Her presence drew people in, and her friendships were many and meaningful.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2006 and leaves behind her mother, six siblings, her daughters, her grandchildren, and countless others who considered her family.
To know Evangelina was to know love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Siempre se conducía con clase y respeto, pero también era el alma de la fiesta - llena de energía, risas y sabiduría.
