Charles Albert Johnson

Charles Albert Johnson, 73, of Houston, Texas, passed away on October 5, 2025. Born on January 31, 1952, in Houston, Charles was the son of the late Helen Schroeder Johnson and William Kyle Johnson Sr. In 1986, Charles married Paula Heflin, who preceded him in death. A Houston native, he grew up in the Garden Oaks neighborhood and remained in the area his entire life while building a long career in materials procurement in oil and gas.
He is survived by his daughter Anne Party and her husband Michael Party of New York, his sister Judy Henry and her husband Pat Henry of Houston, his brother Kyle Johnson Jr. of Houston, his nephew Cory Henry and his wife Kelsey Henry of Houston, his niece Sarah Bowden and her husband Blake Bowden of Houston, and his seven great-nieces and great-nephews, Maddie, Carson, Ben, Ethan, Parker, Kylee, and Tucker.
Known for his love of animals, Charles filled his home over the years with dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits, and cherished time spent at the family farm in Fashing, Texas, where his grandmother lived-a place he continued to visit well into adulthood.
A graveside service is planned for 12:00 pm Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery.
