Barbara Abraham Obituary
Jean was born March 1, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to Nevada (nee Vearl) and Carl B. Cross. She was married to Lloyd E. Conover in 1951 and had four children. She later was united in marriage in 1984 to Roy Abraham. Jean was devoted in her faith and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Hartford. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Jean will be remembered fondly of her love and expertise of decorating and cleaning.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Roy; loving children, Dain (Debra) Conover of Nekoosa, Bruce (Charmaigne) Conover of Peshtigo, Lance (Anita) Conover of St. Cloud, MN, and Michelle (Greg) Yaklovich of Hartford; cherished grandchildren, Marie, Cale, Cody (Lindsey), Zachary, Ethan, Jason (Mara), and Amber (TJ); and 10 cherished greatgrandchildren. She is further survived my other loved relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Funeral Service for Jean will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 112 Church Street, Hartford, WI 53027 with Rev. Cameron Rankin officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 11:30a.m.-1:00 p.m. Committal in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
Contributions in memory of Jean are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Jean's family would like to share their sincere appreciation with Dr. Ward and the Aurora Medical Center-Hartford medical staff for the wonderful care and comfort they provided her and the family.
